Creativity - 3/3/2021 (Learning Outcome 2)

Over the past week I spent a lot of time baking. It is one of my favorite things to do to undwind after a long day of school and to treat myself to something delicious. Most of what I was doing was testing recipes that could go in the upcoming box for my business. Since it is the spring season this included lemon cookies and carrot cake cupcakes. While both of these recipes are not extremely difficult, they both require flavors that if done overboard could result in an icky tasting treat. However, I managed to have them turn out delicious with the help of my friend.  Looking back at all the recipes I have tested, and all of the boxes we have made for our business I am so proud of what I have accomplished. There are times when I have been completely exhausted from the immense amounts of baking I have done, but I am also so happy with the completed product.

This business and all of this baking has taught me so much. It would fall under learning outcome 2, because I have faced numerous challenges, but I have also grown a lot and used new skills to overcome these challenges. I have learned new techniques to perfect recipes and also how to make adjustments when things don't work out. After facing a challenge and working to fix it things continue to work out better and I am always glad I took the time to make these changes and accomplish something new!
