Activity 4/14/2021 (Learning Outcome 2)
Yesterday evening I spent an hour of my time at triathlon training. This training is both rewarding and very painful at the same time. I am really able to push myself and work as hard as I am willing to, but in the moment it can be very dififcult and hard to keep going. However, being able to have this activity that I am going to do at the end of every day is super encouraging to me and helps me get through the long school days. Yesterday my focus was on running. I love running because it is fast and great exercise, and I dislike it because it can be extremely difficult. I started by doing a quick warmup, then I started my 20 minute run with variations in speed. I worked my way up from a jog to a sprint then back down. This practice was good because it sort of mirrors what you would be doing in a race.
